Regional Hydromorphological Characterization

ESPL_cover_0

We collaborated in this new paper where a unique regional database of continuous hydromorphological variables (HyMo DB) based on areal and topographic data has been generated from RS analysis. In view of future RS acquisitions, this type of hydromorphological characterization will allow regional trends and patterns to be highlighted through time and river management strategies to thus be implemented at both regional and local scales.

The NRMGroup won the EFARRI award

We won the EFARRI award with the IMRR project. The IMRR project developed and promoted strategies for the sustainable and participatory management of water resources in the Red-Thai Binh River (RTBR) system, the largest river basin in Screen Shot 2017-01-19 at 15.29.04Vietnam. The EFARRI call was launched on September 14th 2015. In total 214 projects were submitted before December 8th 2015. Between December 2015 and March 2016 four pre-selection rounds took place to reduce the amount of applications from 214 to 15. Eventually the IMRR project was chosen as one of them and on November 21st was announced as one of the three winners of the EFARRI award.
