NRM meets DHI

Andrea Castelletti has visited the DHI headquarter in Denmark and given a seminar on Multiobjective control of water resources systems. The visit was aimed at exploring spaces for potential collaboration on complex water systems modelling and real time control. The presentation can be downloaded here.

NRM meets Singapore’s PUB @ EMIVASA’s headquarters

Last Friday, September 30th, Matteo Giuliani and Andrea Cominola participated in a meeting between PUB, Singapore’s National Public Agency, and Aguas de Valencia at the EMIVASA’s headquarters in Valencia.
The first SmartH2O outcomes from the analysis of several thousands of water consumers’ in Valencia were discussed with EMIVASA’s staff and, then, Maria Pilar Conejos guided all the participants through a visit to the EMIVASA’s control centre.

US-EU Worskhop on the water-energy nexus

The JRC is hosting an EU-US the workshop Understanding the water-energy nexus: integrated water and power system modelling. The NRMGroup is participating with an introductory speech by Andrea Castelletti on behalf of the IMPREX project about Water and energy nexus under changing climate: challenges and opportunities from a water management perspective.
